We visualize Uttarakhand Graphic Era Parvatiya Vishwavidyalaya as a destination university, internationally recognized, as an inquiry- driven, ethically engaged, with a diverse community, whose members work collaboratively, for positive transformation in the world, through courageous leadership in teaching, learning, research and social action.
Mission
The mission of the University is to promote learning in the true spirit. The University offers the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as professionals, and the values and sensitivity needed to become responsible citizens of the world. The University will distinguish itself as a diverse, socially responsible learning community of high scholastic quality and academic rigor.

II.About the Chancellor
Prof. Kamal Ghanshala is an Engineer with Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science and Engineering. Uttarakhand Graphic Era Parvatiya Vishwavidyalaya is the fructification of his dreams. He has rich teaching experience, and in-arguably, one of the leading experts in teaching of Computer Aided Design (CAD), programming languages and Data structure. He is recipient of UTTARAKHAND RATAN AWARD, the INTERNATIONAL MILLENNIUM GOLDSTAR AWARD (Thailand) and the LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from Indian Economic Development and Research Association, New Delhi for his exemplary contribution to technical and professional Education.
III.About Vice Chancellor
Prof. S.R Khanduja was formerly a professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at IIT Roorkee. He has about 42 years of experience in teaching, research and academics administration.
He has been to Germany for three years under an academic exchange program in Mechanical Engineering research.
He has guided a number of M. Tech and Ph.D students in their academic fields, and has held several responsible positions in academic institutions of repute.
IV.Dehradun Campus
The UGEPV Campus at Dehradun is spread over vast acres it has been designed as self contained community with academics and research facilities, laboratories, libraries and administration offices all in the same campus.
B.Bhimtal Campus
Spread over 40 bighas of Salubroius expanse located at Bhimtal Satal Road over looking the picturesque lush green Bhimtal Valley and the emerald lake with an island. The very Existence of Bhimtal campus is inspired by the raw and ravishing natural beauty of every nook and corner of the region. All landscape surrounding this are aesthetically nurtured amidst oak trees.
