Introduction
Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT) Rishikesh, Uttarakhand is an Institution of Excellence run by Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Charitable Trust. The Institute was founded in July 1999 by Paramahamsa Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj. OIMT is the first professionally administered institute of Management and Technical Education in the state of Uttarakhand with highest credentials and expertise; it continues its legacy of excellence in providing 'Value-Based' education.
In the year 2005, the President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Swami Vishveshwarananda accepted 'The Pride of Uttaranchal Award' for the outstanding contributions of Omkarananda Ashram and Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Charitable Trust to the field of education, specifically in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.

Our campus provides modern, well-managed and well-maintained facilities; the campus was designed and planned to give students a state-of-the-art environment to encourage and assist their learning process. Well-appointed lecture halls, a comprehensive library, "fully-loaded" computer lab, and pleasant hostel rooms are some of the featured buildings of the OIMT campus.

OIMT has a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated and experienced instructors, and fully-accredited courses. At OIMT the MBA Programme is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun along with other courses like MJMC, M Lib, BJMC, B Lib and B Sc (IT). The BBA, BCA and M Sc (CS) courses are affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand.
